Angela Shields, Pitmans Law employment partner, took part in a roundtable debate hosted by The Business Magazine which considered the current uncertain landscape and what this means for businesses – a chance for new opportunities or further challenges?
Discussions ranged from the implications of AI on the workplace, how to magnetise top talent to the Thames Valley, the need for more IT and technology based scholarships and education opportunities, modern staff engagement initiatives and the level of support received from the government.
Representatives from NatWest, Taylor Made, Hays, James Cowper Kreston, Computer Solutions, ActionCOACH, Redwood Technologies, Thomas International and other local businesses also took part in the discussion.
