Robert Wallace

Robert acts for commercial landlords and tenants in a variety of sectors. His skills include drafting and negotiating agreements, leases, licences to assign, licences for alterations and licences to occupy. He advises on lease renewals and surrenders, break clauses, dilapidations, freehold transactions, and he provides corporate support in property related matters.

Robert is involved in the acquisition of sites through mechanisms such as option agreements and conditional contracts. He is interested in residential development and has experience in producing set-up documents and selling new homes. Robert also represents buyers and sellers in standard residential transactions.

He practises in planning law too advising on areas such as Section 106 agreements, Community Infrastructure Levy, infrastructure agreements and use classes. This service extends to planning objections, planning enforcement and judicial review.

Furthermore, Robert helps the construction team in contentious and non-contentious matters. He provides legal assistance in the design, procurement, and building stages.

Special interests




Robert obtained a First Class Honours Degree in Law and German from Cardiff University (with a year abroad at Passau University). He completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford. Robert worked in the international insolvency department of the German law firm Schultze & Braun. He joined Pitmans as a trainee in 2012 and qualified in September 2014.
