Rachel deals with all aspects of dispute resolution work including, but not limited, to cross border litigation/recovery, debt recovery and contract disputes.
On cross border matters, Rachel has much experience of both bringing actions in the English Courts and in instructing lawyers outside of the UK to take action on client’s behalf where appropriate.
She looks to resolve disputes by settlement methods where appropriate, such methods including settlement offers, without prejudice meetings, mediations or other alternative resolutions. Where settlement is not possible, Rachel has experience in taking matters to trial to achieve results for her clients.
She also deals with insolvency work such as liquidations and bankruptcies.
Prior to joining Pitmans in March 2004, Rachel worked in the public sector in a legal department of a district council and before that she worked for Lloyd’s Of London and in both public and private practice.
Rachel has dealt with in excess of 100 cases for European Bank in relation to registration and enforcement of cross border judgements and european enforcement orders.
These include; Speedway, football, reading, walking and gun dog training.
