Philip Weaver has been a Partner in the Corporate Department since 1997 and has been heavily involved in offering corporate advice to high-tech companies and continues to work with a wide range of companies in that sector on Mergers & Acquisitions and fundraising work.
He has substantial experience in dealing with shareholder issues, both agreements and disagreements. A significant part of Philips’ practice involves commercial work. He has prepared agreements and licences for many firms and has a particular strength in the technology sector. He is the resident legal expert in franchising, distribution and agency agreements.
Graduate of Pembroke College Oxford. Trained at Macfarlanes and worked at British Aerospace Plc. Worked at Norton Rose. Joined Pitmans in 1996. Appointed Partner in 1997.
