Nick Todd

Nick is involved with Commercial Property and has wide experience of buying, selling, letting and finance on freehold and leasehold land . Nick's expertise includes contracts, options and conditional agreements subject to planning.

Nick also deals with the disposal and acquisition of land for residential development purposes.

Nick has significant experience of acting for public sector clients in the education, health and local government sectors.

University of Birmingham and Nottingham Trent University

Nick trained with a local authority and qualified in 1990. He spent 11 years with Pinsent Masons (London). Nick also worked for Eversheds (Newcastle upon Tyne) for 5 years. Nick joined Lamport Bassitt in 2011 prior to their acquisition by Pitmans in 2014.

Acted for the owner of an office building in City of London in relation to a rights to light settlement relating to a major neighbouring development

Acted for the buyer of a mixed-use site (retail/offices/residential) in Southampton for development as residential.

Acted for the landlord on the lease of commercial site in Winchester with alterations for use as a Government HGV testing centre

Acted for the buyer of office buildings in Chichester for conversion to residential apartments using permitted development rights.

Acted for a ferry operator in relation to a lease of new facilities at Southampton docks and associated agreements with other users and the local authority.

Acted for the seller of a former motel site in Essex conditional on planning permission for residential development.

Acted for the seller of a site in Hampshire to a residential developer on an unconditional basis with leaseback arrangements.
