Nick deals with all aspects of Family Law, with a particular emphasis in dealing with complex financial matters for high net worth clients as well as Financial Relief in general.
- Negotiating favourable settlements on behalf of clients as well as preparing comprehensive Consent Orders
- Representing clients at County Court/Magistrate level proceedings in particular Children Act applications, Jurisdictional issues (India and USA), Injunction proceedings (Freezing Assets, Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders) and Finances (from First Appointment to Final Hearings)
- Children Act Matters and Child Arrangements Orders
- Pre-Nuptial and Post-Nuptial Agreements involving multi-million pound assets
Nick graduated from the University of Westminster with an LLB in commercial law before going on to complete his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law (formerly College of Law). Nick completed his training at a Legal 500 law firm.
Nick was previously Secretary of Society of Asian Lawyers which boasts a membership of over 3,000 (including Paralegals, Trainees, Pupils, Solicitors, Barristers and Judges). He ensured the smooth running of the Society and that it was compliant with Companies House procedures. The Society seeks to promote and develop the legal profession within the Asian community within the United Kingdom. Through the Society, he worked with a number of Senior Partners, Queen’s Counsels and Judges to promote diversity and assisted in providing a forum for Asian Lawyers to exchange knowledge, experience and assistance.
Nick was also the youngest Special Police Inspector in the Metropolitan Police Service having quickly progressed through the ranks from Constable, Sergeant to Inspector. He successfully managed and led a team of 156 Police Officers. He was given a number of awards including South East Region Special Constable of the Year and Runner Up National Special Constable of the Year, for various Operations and initiatives.
