Emma predominantly represents clients in divorce and separation and advises on the financial matters arising from a relationship breakdown, with cases ranging from modest assets to high net worth individuals.
Emma is experienced in advising clients going into a marriage or new relationship and advising such clients on pre-nuptial and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.
Emma has vast experience in advising clients on issues in relation to children, such as disputes over where a child should live and the time they should spend with each parent.
Emma is a trained family mediator.
Emma graduated in Law from De Montfort University in Leicester before going on to complete her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Bloomsbury. Emma completed her training at a firm in West London which obtained Legal 500 status during her time there.
Before joining Pitmans LLP, Emma has worked at two large multi office firms in the Thames Valley Region where she specialised in Matrimonial law.
