David has practised as a Property Solicitor for over 35 years, qualifying in April 1981. Over the years he has offered legal advice on all aspects of commercial, residential and leisure property. This has included major development work, insolvency and investment portfolio work of both a commercial and residential nature. His clients have included J.Sainsbury, Fort Knight Group and Residential Land, as well as other niche property investment companies, residential investment companies and boutique hotel and leisure companies. He has also worked closely with and represented major clearing banks as well as a number of private banks.
David now uses his extensive list of contacts to connect clients and other contacts, working with and helping them build a synergy to enable them to work and move forward together on new projects.
David has worked with a number of different firms over the years, ranging from City Firms (Herbert Oppenheimer Nathan and Vandyk, Nicholson Graham & Jones, and Wedlake Bell) to West End Firms (McGuiness Finch and Seddons) through to out of town experience in Peterborough and Kings Lynn and then joining Pitmans Reading Office as a Partner in 2000. In 2007 he moved back to London at the behest of his major client and joined Wedlake Bell, before returning in November 2016 to re-join the City Office of Pitmans as a Consultant.
Theatre, wine, gardening, rugby, Church (David is a committed Christian and Church Warden of his local church) and travel (David and his wife lived in the South of France between 2002 and 2012, commuting on a weekly basis, and therefore has some experience of the French Property system).
