Experienced corporate and commercial lawyer originally practising in London. I acted for Mercantile Credit on equipment leasing and M&A deals. I acted for the Buy In team of the Lewis’s department stores and moved up to the North West when I joined the holding company board. I then set up my own practise before joining Hill Dickinson heading a corporate team. We acted on the sale of Marcher Radio to GWR as well as a number of acquisitions for the Mosaic group of Canada in the UK, the Netherlands and France.
After leaving Hill Dickinson I set up my own practise which has been involved in corporate and commercial work for SMEs as well as early stage tech and bio-tech work.
I have also advised a number of Football Clubs from Championship level down. This has involved advice on player and stadium contracts as well as appearing before the FA Tribunal.
I sit on a number of boards as a non executive director including a Sports Trust which has been nominated for National Awards for its work on introducing members of the public with health issues due to lack of exercise into a fitness programme.
I was a director of Doncaster Rovers for a number of years enjoying their rise from the Conference to the Championship.
